Overview of Work
We successfully implemented advanced temporary traffic control measures and controls for the rehabilitation of Greenock Structure 0006.
Our scope of work included:
- Replacement of concrete in ballast walls, wing walls, and bridge seats.
- Removal of existing bridge components and elements.
- Excavation and grading to prepare the site for rehabilitation.
- Supply and installation of rip-rap for erosion control.
- Bridge jacking and temporary support to ensure safety during construction.
- Replacement of floor beams to enhance structural integrity.
- Repairs to bottom chords and ends of the structure.
- Partial or full-depth concrete repairs to address deterioration.
- Installation of laminated elastomeric bearings for improved functionality and durability.
